A very long time ago, I started a simple on line journal that I was not aware would grow into a movement. It all started with THIS POST in a forum on Yahoo called Black Men 4 Men Keepin It Real:
"Greetings everyone! I know I know another dayum club to join. Why? Well if you're anything like me and I suspect that some of you are, you just want to get to know somebody for real for who they are before you get all intimate with them. There is a time and aplace to discuss width, length, girth positioning, fetishes and preferences but for me that time and place is NOT HERE! I like the way things used to be back in the day. The romance. The chase. The build up BEFORE all the sexual gymnastics. Thats just me. So I encourage of all of you who join my club or are thinking about joining to just come on in, pull up a chair, put on some Isley Bros., Marivn Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass or even Prince, D'Angelo or Eric Bene't and speak from your heart and not your groin. Keep it real and just be true to the light deep within you. As I said who knows you might just find somebody worth keeping. It's been almost 10 years since I wrote those words and quite a bit has happened. I have tried starting a few different type of blogs, but I will never forget my partner sharing with my that a friend of HIS had been impacted by what I did with that group. And that's when I knew, it was time to bring THIS one back.
I may be a little rusty, and it may take me time to find my bearings and audience again, but with time and a little patience, we can make this something to talk about again.
And with that I'm off.
